Participation

Soluna Institute welcomes artists, practitioners, researchers, writers, and cultural thinkers interested in the formation of cultural sensibility and artistic judgment.

We are particularly interested in individuals whose work emerges from sustained observation, long-term practice, and thoughtful engagement with materials, ideas, and lived experience.

Participation is not determined by discipline, representation, or career stage. We value curiosity, rigor, and a willingness to engage in open inquiry.

Participation may take a variety of forms, including:

• Research collaborations 
• Artist and practitioner participation 
• Salons and public conversations 
• Documentation and publication projects 
• Institutional partnerships 
• Pilot research initiatives 

Some activities are public-facing, while others remain exploratory, developmental, or research-based.

Not all participation leads to exhibition, publication, or formal collaboration. Soluna is less interested in professional categories than in how individuals learn to see, perceive, and form judgment through culture and experience.

We believe cultural sensibility develops over time through attention, practice, and lived experience. What matters most is a shared commitment to inquiry, reflection, and the cultivation of cultural understanding.
